He selected IU over a number of schools, including North Carolina, Ohio State and Florida State.\nYeldell was named the 1998 National High School Track and Field Athlete of the Year by Track and Field News and holds the United States high school record in the triple jump. \n"I think we all know he's a physical talent," Cameron said. "And I mean this sincerely: I hope wherever he winds up going, he gets things squared away and goes on to do well." \nYeldell was out of town and could not be reached for comment.
